Hydrogen gains more followers every day as it has become an efficient
option in achieving a desired carbon-neutrality for trucks. That is why
five famous Japanese manufacturers have just joined forces to
promote this type of fuel in heavy commercial vehicles.
Toyota, Isuzu Motors, Denso, Hino Motors, and Commercial Japan
Partnership Technologies are the companies that have come together
to give the good news to the industry. They have all signed an
agreement to research the fuel cell engine mainly in heavy duty trucks.
Its directors assure that reducing emissions in the transport and
logistics of heavy vehicles is a "public issue" that must be approached
responsibly with partners who share a "common goal". They hope to
find a way for a healthier society to be achieved while lowering the
transportation industry's carbon footprint.
