This Privacy Policy describes the privacy policies and practices of MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION regarding its website https://www.mondotracking.com (the “Website”) and all services offered, including GPS Tracking, Electronic Logging Devices (ELD), Dashcam/Camera Systems, and Data & Tablet Services for vehicles, assets, and customers of all types operating in the United States.
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION uses each Customer’s Personal and Location Information solely to provide the Services described herein. We do not collect information of any kind beyond what is necessary to provide such Services, and we do not currently share, sell, or rent any Personal or Location Information to any third parties, except to our agents as described below.
A. SERVICES COVERED BY THIS POLICY
This Privacy Policy applies to the following services provided by MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION:
1. GPS Tracking
Real-time vehicle and asset tracking solutions for fleets, individual vehicles, and other assets. Includes solar-powered satellite GPS for vehicles, trailers, and livestock assets. When the Services are active, MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION periodically collects GPS coordinates, vehicle status, speed, direction, and related telemetry data (“Location Information”).
2. Electronic Logging Devices (ELD)
FMCSA-compliant ELD solutions for hours-of-service (HOS) recording, IFTA reporting, and driver logbook management. Data collected includes drive time, duty status, engine hours, odometer readings, and location data.
3. Dashcam & Camera Systems
In-cab and external camera systems for fleet safety and driver monitoring. This service may collect and process the following types of data:
- Video footage from inside the cab and the road-facing camera
- Triggered event recordings (e.g., harsh braking, collisions, lane departures)
- Driver-facing images for behavior monitoring purposes (e.g., distraction detection)
- Still images captured during triggered events
Video and image data is stored on MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION’s servers or authorized third-party cloud providers and is accessible only to the authorized Customer and designated MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION personnel. Footage is retained for a period determined by MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION at its sole discretion, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Customer.
Important: Video footage may capture images of third parties (pedestrians, other drivers, passengers). MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION processes such footage solely for the purpose of fleet safety and does not use it for any other commercial purpose.
4. Data & Tablet Services
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION provides data connectivity and tablet management services for commercial drivers. Data collected through this service may include:
- Device usage logs and application activity
- Driver identification information linked to device sessions
- Data consumption records
- Software configuration and remote management data
All data collected through tablet services is linked to the Customer’s account and subject to the same protections described in this Privacy Policy.
B. INFORMATION COLLECTED TO PROVIDE THE SERVICES
A person who purchases any of the Services (a “Customer”) must provide the following Personal Information to activate the Services:
- Full name and company name
- Billing and mailing address
- Telephone numbers and email address
- Payment card information
Customers must promptly notify MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION of any changes to such Personal Information. MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION may also receive additional information about a Customer from other sources (such as credit information), and will treat such information as Personal Information.
Location Information and device data collected across all Services is linked to the Personal Information of the respective Customer. MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION or its contractors retain this data on secure servers located in the U.S.A.
C. INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM THE WEBSITE
When Customers and visitors browse the Website, MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION may collect:
- IP address and registered domain or host server
- Operating system and browser version
- Referring website and search keywords
- Anonymous site statistical data
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION may use cookies to improve the visitor experience. Cookies are small files placed on a visitor’s computer that help recognize returning visitors and personalize the site experience. Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information but may be linked to Personal Information that visitors voluntarily provide.
If a visitor submits a form, sends an email, or requests information through the Website, MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION may save the visitor’s contact information and use it to respond to inquiries and provide relevant service information. Visitors will always have the option to unsubscribe from future communications.
D. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION uses Customer and Website visitor information exclusively for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- To process payments and manage Customer accounts
- To respond to inquiries and provide technical support
- To send service-related notifications and updates
- To analyze aggregate usage data to improve our platform
- To comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION may create anonymized, aggregated data (“Aggregate Information”) from which individual Customer identities have been removed. Such Aggregate Information is not Personal or Location Information and may be used to analyze service trends and improve offerings.
E. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION does not sell, rent, or share Personal Information or Location Information with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:
- To authorized agents and subcontractors who assist in delivering the Services, subject to confidentiality obligations
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal proceedings
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION, its Customers, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets, in which case Customers will be notified
- In response to a valid subpoena or court order — MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION will make good faith efforts to notify the affected Customer prior to disclosure
F. DATA RETENTION
Personal Information is retained for as long as the Customer maintains an active account with MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION, and for any period during which a dispute exists between the Customer and MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION.
Location Information, video footage, and device data are retained for a period determined by MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION in its sole discretion, unless a specific retention agreement has been established with the Customer in writing.
Customers may suspend Location Information collection by disconnecting the GPS or camera device. Customers may terminate all data collection by canceling their agreement with MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION in accordance with the applicable Customer Agreement.
G. INFORMATION SECURITY
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION employs a variety of physical, technical, and procedural safeguards to protect Personal Information, Location Information, and all data collected through its Services, including:
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Secure server infrastructure within the U.S.A.
- Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliance
- Periodic security audits and monitoring
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION requires all Customers to use secure credentials to access their account data. While we employ robust security practices, no system can guarantee absolute security. If MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION learns of an unauthorized disclosure of a Customer’s Personal or Location Information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the affected Customer promptly.
H. ACCESS AND CORRECTION OF INFORMATION
Customers may request a copy of their Personal Information or data collected from the Website by contacting MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION at:
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION will make good faith efforts to provide the requested information after verifying the identity of the requester. If any information is inaccurate, Customers may submit a correction request to the same address along with sufficient identity verification. MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION will update its records accordingly.
I. CHILDREN’S INFORMATION
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION will not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. All Personal Information provided during account registration must be that of an adult.
Customers who permit children to use MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION’s devices or services are solely responsible for ensuring appropriate use and compliance with applicable children’s privacy laws. MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION shall not be liable for any data related to children collected through improper use of its services by a Customer.
By using our Services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and service providers from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from inappropriate use of the Services related to children’s information.
J. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites. We encourage Customers and visitors to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites they visit.
K. ENFORCEMENT AND COMPLAINTS
If a Customer believes their privacy rights have been violated, they should contact MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION at [email protected]. We will make every effort to resolve complaints promptly. If MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION is unable to resolve a complaint, the Customer may file a complaint with the applicable Data Protection Authority in their jurisdiction.
L. AMENDMENTS TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time at its sole discretion. Any amendments will be posted to the Website and Customers will be notified by email. Amendments take effect immediately upon being posted.
Continued use of the Services after the effective date of any amendment constitutes the Customer’s acceptance of and consent to the changes. If a Customer does not accept an amendment, they must notify MONDO TRACKING SOLUTION within 30 days of receiving notice of the amendment to terminate the Services without a termination fee.
