DispatchTrack, delivery management software solution provider, presented the 2022 Last Mile
Holiday Perspective Report, that explores how logistics professionals in the United States are
thinking and planning for the upcoming holiday season, while dealing with fuel costs and rising

Contrary to recent reports of oversupply at big box stores, 6 in 10 respondents indicated they
are concerned about inventory shortages and the vast majority (82%) fear missing out on last-
mile deliveries this year.

Yet only 1 in 3 companies is preparing for the holiday season sooner than they did last year. To
improve operational efficiency, half of the respondents indicated that their companies invested
in new technologies or extended existing solutions this year.

4 in 10 are planning to rent additional warehouses or trucks to avoid potential compliance
